'#65 Roses'
Thank you to everyone who bought a wristband for National Cystic Fibrosis Week, aka ‘#65 Roses’. We are thrilled to announce that you have raised €2,262.00
There are some charities that touch the heart of the Mount Anville Community and this is one of them. Katherine, a 3rd class student, gave a wonderful presentation, assisted by Ms Brennan about living with CF and all the incredible medical support that surrounds her. Katherine and her classmates created 65 purple roses which are on display in the GP room.
We were also delighted that Julian Benson came to visit. He spoke with us about his own experience with CF but also all about his life, his dancing, his career on TV and off it - he even gave us a twirl! Such a positive and inspiring gentleman.
