Last week as part of our MS Readathon activities, our pupils had to guess the name of a mystery writer. They were given 5 clues. All of the correct answers were put in a hat and the first three names pulled out won a copy of the mystery writer’s book.

The clues were:
- She is Irish.
- She is a past pupil of Mount Anville.
- She has been nominated for two An Post Book Awards this year.
- Her new book is ‘The New Girl’.
- Her first name begins with S.

The answer is Sinead Moriarty.
We were delighted to be able to welcome Sinead to our school on Friday 12th November to talk to the girls. She told us all about being a writer and about refugees, the topic of her new book, and about when she was in Mount Anville.
