Our Christmas Charity donations have begun and on Tuesday November 2nd, our two fifth classes contributed to the Heart to Hand Charity – a very worthy charity that was set up to cater for the needs of the poor people in countries such as Albania, Bosnia, Moldova and Romania.
This charity collected the schoolbags early as they must be transported abroad in time for Christmas. This year these schoolbags will be sent to Albania.
The pupils have donated suitable items such as pens, pencils, rubbers, pencil cases and other useful stationery. Also, many other items were included in these bags such as socks, pyjamas, gloves, hats, games and teddy bears. The pupils really enjoyed helping this great Charity.
